Raw Food and Your Health

KitchenAid KFP750CR 700-Watt 12-Cup Food Processor, ChromeUnfortunately, this is where the definition of health gets a bit murky. When most people think of health care, they think of doctors and hospitals; they don't think of raw food, or food at all in a lot of cases. Yet, our bodies depend totally on what we put in them for every function of life. The expression, "You are what you eat" is no accident of syntax. If you eat vibrant raw living food, you will be a vibrant living person. If you eat biologically dead food, your body will progress rapidly toward death. Drugs may delay the process, but they won't cure it. No disease known to man is the result of a drug deficiency. All are the result of nutrient deficiencies.
That last statement is quite bold. We know ...
that chemical exposures can cause disease, so how is that a nutrient deficiency? The answer is surprisingly simple: Chemicals cause nutrient depletion, some more rapidly than others. If those nutrients are not restored or replaced, (which is done most easily by raw foods or raw food juices,) a deficiency results and disease begins.
Now, let's look at disease. We are programmed to believe that all disease is bad, that "symptoms" equal disease, and that they must therefore, be eradicated along with the "germs" that cause them. This wrong view of the disease and health cycle is the main reason that "health" care is so expensive. War has been declared on "pathogens" - a war that frankly, cannot be won, nor, as it turns out, should it be.
We are taught by nearly every media outlet and medical "expert" to fear "pathogens" (commonly called "germs") without questioning what their purpose really might be or what their presence in certain circumstances might indicate. Scientifically and forensically speaking, the mere presence of an organism does not mean it is the cause of the condition. Staph and Strep are commonly found around the nose and mouth of people who exhibit no signs of cold or flu, yet they are often and blamed for infections simply because they show up in a culture. If they were truly responsible, why isn't every person who has these microorganisms present, sick? The same can be said for E.coli and salmonella, both of which are part of healthy gut flora.
So, if these "germs" don't cause disease, then why are they there? It might shock you to know that they are actually there to do clean up. The consistent ingestion of dead and adulterated food along with exposure to chemicals (which is daily for most people,) causes cell death and decay. Those organisms, as well as many others, including beneficial parasites, are there to clean up the rotting material so that it doesn't destroy healthy cells. People die of this parasitic activity when their bodies cannot replace the dead cells that are being consumed fast enough with healthy cells. Why can't their bodies reproduce the cells fast enough? Because they haven't provided the raw material needed that is found exclusively in a raw food diet.
A raw food diet is the best answer to detox, weight loss, and renewed and sustained energy. Want super health? Want affordable health care? Then tap into nature's super food - go raw.
